Group Head of Commercial Finance

To support our continued growth, we’re looking for a Group Head of Commercial Finance to lead our revenue focused finance teams and partner closely with the Jetstar Executive. 

Reporting to the Jetstar Group Chief Financial Officer, this is a senior leadership role responsible for end to end commercial finance, including revenue performance, revenue accounting and strategic business partnering across the Jetstar Group. 

You’ll lead a high performing team, provide commercial insights to senior leaders, and influence key decisions that shape Jetstar’s network, pricing and growth strategy. 

What you’ll be doing 

• Lead forecasting, budgeting and long range planning across fare and ancillary revenue 

• Act as the key finance partner to the Commercial Executive team, CEO and CFO 

• Oversee revenue accounting, aviation charges and merchant settlement processes 

• Deliver high quality commercial insights to support growth and profitability decisions 

• Drive continuous improvement across commercial finance processes, systems and capability 

• Lead, develop and retain a strong, engaged Commercial Finance team 

What you’ll bring 

• Extensive senior finance leadership experience in a complex, commercial environment 

• Strong background in commercial finance, revenue analysis and financial modelling 

• CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent) 

• Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead large teams 

• Experience in aviation, travel or consumer facing industries (highly regarded)
