As the Digital Product and Data Analyst, you will work with various stakeholders and the Digital team, to provide exceptional support and service for digital products for Qantas customers. Within a complex environment you will be accountable for ensuring issue management resolution, trend analysis and recommendations, as well as product enhancement opportunities. As part of this role, you will be responsible for the operation of the defined product suite and will undertake regular reviews to ensure continuous improvement and innovative methods are applied.

To be a successful candidate, you will have an analytical mindset and be passionate about problem solving; to support incoming product queries, produce reports, identify trends and opportunities for product improvements, and effectively communicate how features and processes work to the wider Qantas group and external organisations.

You’ll have –

  • 3+ years’ of experience as a Digital analyst, Data Analyst, Product Analyst or related field.
  • 1+ years’ working in an Agile environment and passionate about Agile ways of working.
  • Airline or travel industry experience would be highly regarded.
  • Knowledge and understanding of reservation and ticketing systems, Amadeus experience will be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skillset, including expertise in Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI or similar tools.
  • Ability to investigate, track, and resolve technical product and software issues including raising and management of defect and solution documentation.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving skills and experience translating data into insights to identify trends for issues and action plans to mitigate.
  • Proven ability to follow a methodical approach to problem-solving with very high attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in developing and maintaining user-guides, internal knowledge articles and product documentation.
  • Experience with and comfortable using collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence to document and manage user stories.
  • A customer centric mindset and can effectively manage customer expectations.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to synthesize data and translate complex ideas into clear recommendations.
