As a valued member of the Flight Operations team, the Recoveries Coordinator plays a pivotal role in keeping our Q400 network running smoothly. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely coordination of rostering amendments for all Flight and Cabin Crew, ensuring training disruptions are managed with precision and care.

This role is both dynamic and impactful—your expertise ensures every replan remains fully compliant with Industrial Agreements, CASA regulations, and internal procedures, safeguarding the integrity of our operation.

You’ll collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Flight Operations, Standards and Development, and the ROC, working together to maintain efficient, effective, and high‑quality crew training. Your contribution will directly support operational excellence and help drive the ongoing success of our training programs.

We’re looking for a highly self motivated, proactive self starter who demonstrates strong decision making abilities and exceptional time management skills. 

You'll Have:

  • Minimum 2 years’ recent experience within an operational industry (e.g., Aviation, Transport), ideally in a rostering, training, or operational support role.
  • Solid understanding of airline operational practices, including regulatory and compliance frameworks.
  • Proven capability to perform in high pressure, time critical environments, while confidently managing responsibilities both autonomously and within a collaborative team.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify issues early, develop strategic options, and drive effective decisions that deliver successful outcomes.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience with Airline/Crew management systems (iFlight), Reservation systems (1ARES), and Microsoft Office productivity tools is desirable and will be highly regarded.
